SPEAKER - Matinenga

Tafadzwa Matinenga is owner of TMS Consulting Service, a US based business which specializes in IT consulting, procurement, contract management, project management and human capital services.  TMS Consulting LLC is a minority and  woman owned SWAM certified business with the state of Virginia and DBE (Disadvantaged Business Enterprise) certified with the department of transportation. She is also COO and Co-Founder of Kumbaya Space, a coworking company based in Richmond, VA and cofounder of House of Nakisso. Ms. Matinenga is a visionary and strategic leader with decades of experience in management consulting for businesses, governments and nonprofits. She has made lasting improvements to her client’s performance in helping them realize their most important goals through staffing, risk management and project management. Taffy served as a senior contract manager and consultant to various clients including Conduent, Freddie Mac, CenturyLink and  Securities Exchange Commission. Taffy attended law school at the University of Cape Town in South Africa. She is currently the Vice- Chair of Girl Child Outreach, a non-profit organization, which advocates for education to young girls in Zimbabwe.
